Project Coordinator
The Studebaker Family National Association, located in Tipp City, Ohio, is
searching for a coordinator to organize and oversee the computerization of
its genealogical history. The history, published in three volumes, is a
combined total of over 2100 pages and is organized by a genealogical
numbering system.
This is a multiyear project in need of a key central overseer to manage the
task from start to finish. Individual will work closely with nationwide
volunteers, dividing project into logical segments and overseeing data entry
and proofreading. (Hands-on data entry and proofreading could become a part
of this job.)
Computer aptitude and typing skill are necessary; experience with genealogy
research techniques would be helpful but are not necessary. This project's
pace will increase gradually, initially requiring several hours/week and
growing to several days/week. Pay range is $13 to $15 per hour.
