No, No, No.  Please do NOT post the barbie story/hoax to the whole
list again.  It appears several times in the museum-l archives ... it
was posted on August 31, 1997 with museum humor in the subject heading, for
example, and has appeared since then.  Search the archives.
Those of us at the Anthropology Dept. at the Smithsonian would really
not like to see this story start circulating again.  Yes, it is funny,
but too many people take it as fact, not as a hoax/humor.
