I'm not sure whether or not you got my e-mail in response to your request
for experiences with artists who have been directly involved with
interpreting collections, but the idea remains intriguing and I hope you
have had some success. If the AAM is not interested at this time, perhaps
a regional organizations such as the Middle Atlantic Association of Museums
would be. Or, wait another year and re-submit it to the AAM again (without
mentioning the previous submittal)!
