Free for the taking: one exhibit pavilion/room, designed by Stephen Saitas
for Historic Deerfield' exhibition at the Winter Antiques Show, January
1998. This show was inside the 7th Regiment Armory, so pavilion was
designed to be free standing in a large space (well, along with lots of
antiques dealers's booths).
Dimensions overall: 24' long by 14' deep x 10' 1" tall. With two
doorways, one arched opening, six recessed cases (look like shell
cupboards, on exterior of pavilion). Sort of a 18th century New England
look. Meant to be walked through and around. Made to conservation
standards of medite, etc.
Currently disassembled and wrapped at a storage company in New York City.
The company will throw it out very soon. You would have to make
arrangements and pay for pick up. If interested, please e-mail me by
Tuesday August 10.
Will Garrison, Collections Manager
