FALL CONFERENCE, SEPTEMBER 13, 1999.
In conjunction with the Digital Cultural Heritage Community, a project
supported by a leadership grant from the Institute of Museum and Library
Services, a fall conference will be held at the McLean County Museum of
History, Bloomington, Illinois, on Monday, September 13, from 9:00 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. The theme of the meeting is "Integrating Primary Resources into
Teaching." Speakers are Thomas Shlereth, Professor of American Studies and
Professor of History at Notre Dame University; E. Duane Elbert, Emeritus
Professor of History at Eastern Illinois University and former State Historian;
and Professor Frances Jacobson, University of Illinois High School Librarian
and Associate Professor of Library Administration. Guests are welcome at the
conference. There is no charge, however, seating is limited and registration is
