If anyone is interested in the South Carolina Heritage Corridor, there is an
interim website posted at http://www.sc-heritagecorridor.org . Please be
aware that this is just an interim site. A more complete site is being
prepared and will be posted in the next week or so.

>>These days I work from home as a part-time travel agent. My particular
>>interest (and my reason for joining this list) is heritage-related travel.
>>I would be especially interested in making contact with anyone who has
>>experience with travel programs related to museums. Over the next couple
of
>>years, I hope to be able to develop travel packages that would be of
>>interest to both heritage professionals but especially heritage supporters
>>such as museum members and "Friends of" organizations. Please e-mail me
if
>>you have any experience/knowledge in this area.

>Dear Gerry Crouse,

>South Carolina is developing a trail that traverses the state called the
>Heritage Corridor. Along the trail, hubs or visitor centers interpret the
>heritage of that area and provide information on the museums and other
>local sites to visit. One such hub will be located in the South Carolina
>Botanical Garden on the campus of Clemson University. If your plans
>include developing a travel package to explore the history of the
>southeastern US, I think our site could offer some interesting
>opportunities. You can contact me directly at [log in to unmask]
