I would contact colleges with Fashion Design programs. One that I know
that has a very good costume collection and program is Mount Mary
College in Milwaukee WI. Contact Mary Elliot, Costume Collection Curator
at 414-258-5810.  I know that she has the expertise in costume history
to help you.
