I don't know anything about laminators, but, Henry Wilhelm, one of the
few color testing professionals, has made a generic pronouncement that
UV protection coatings generally decrease the life of inkjet printed
materials.

I assume this is due to chemical interactions between the colorants and
the coating and not because the UV inhibitors don't work.  Wilhelm has
shown that Lyson inks have varying light stability's depending on the
paper on which it is printed.  Some of the tested papers are considered
high quality paper, but they interact with the dyes unfavorably for some
reason.  So, beware of coatings.
