For the past few years we have invited our volunteers to a brunch
"catered" by the Museum staff -- those who wished to cook made egg
casserole, baked goods, etc.  Others served the beverages, greeted the
guests, and cleaned up afterwards.  It was inexpensive and, because we
did it all ourselves, our volunteers appreciated the efforts.

But, just like you, we've been thinking that it is time to come up with
something different.  You can do something for just so long, and then
it's time to come up with something new and exciting.  I look forward to
hearing other ideas...

BTW, the URL for your museum does not seem to work on my system.
