Dear list...One regrettable trend that you might want to include is the
link between toys & tv shows & movies. In some cases the toys are used
to promote the movies through fast food chains, MONTHS before the movies
are in theaters!?!
Examples from my child hood would include a whole Daniel Boone outfit,
Bonanza figures, and my personal favorite, a Daktari play set!! (Who
remembers Clarence, the cross-eyed lion??) Of course today, kids have
Toy Story, Star Wars, etc.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane and good luck with the exhibit!
