Amy:
Try calling the county Probate Court where the person died...they should
have a copy of the will on file, and can probably send you a copy for a
small fee. (It helps if you can give them an approximate death date.)

: Hello-
:
: Does anyone on the list know of a way to find out information about a
: deceased person's estate. The person in question has items on loan from
our
: collection, moved to another state, and we haven't heard from him or
anyone
: regarding his estate or the items he has. I really don't know what to do
: next. I have done various people searches on the internet, checked out
: obituary notices on line, to no avail. The "powers that be" here at the
: Science Center really don't want to have "to pay" to find information on
: this person.
:
: Any suggestions anyone has would be very helpful. Please feel free to
: contact me off the list.
