Dear List members:

Please do not perpetuate this further. It's a hoax which has been floating
around the Internet in one form or another since 1995. The Urban Legend
Page at http://www.snopes.com/radiotv/tv/sesame.htm has the complete
story, including PBS's official response.

Petitions, virus alerts, and thrilling rumors (I think we've all suffered
enough from the "Man wakes up with his kidneys removed" legend) need to be
substantiated before forwarding to large groups of people. I recommend the
abovementioned site in particular, but there are plenty of others.
