Hi Jodi,
Shedd's Oceanarium has a number of preserved plants in it (as well as
models), but no animal specimens.  If you wish to discuss the background on
the fabrication, preparation or assembly of the plants, try Paul Bluestone,
the VP for Planning and Design here,  ([log in to unmask]).  He
may have looked into some animal specimens as well, but our choice was to
use models rather than actual specimens.
