Chris, Just got back into town & saw your request for information on
restoration of stained glass windows. The Jekyll Island Museum in Jekyll
Island, GA is repeating the stained glass workshop it sponsored last
January. One of the participants in that workshop said it was the best
stained glass workshop he'd ever attended.
The workshop will be held Friday, January 22-Saturday, January 23, 1999.
The presenters are Neal Vogel and Art Femenella. They will introduce the
history of stained glass, introduce technical terms, discuss protective
stewardship techniques, discuss the particular concerns of the
participants, and demonstrate techniques.
A one-day registration is $125; two-day registration is $225.
Registration includes two continental breakfasts and two lunches. I
understand the hotel rates are bargains.
