I think museum visitors can be disappointed by museums, bored, misled,
misinformed, inadequately informed, angered, irritated, enraged, and
lots of other negative consequences (and please note, two people can
stand side by in a museum and one can have a negative experience while
the other has a positive one). But...damaged??? I think that's taking
victim mentality a little too far (unless of course, you mean an exhibit
case or a dinosaur jawbone falling on a visitor's head, or food
poisoning in the cafeteria...) If you're talking about museum employees
rather than visitors, that might be a different story...
