You should probably check out Cal State Los Angeles. They have a "mini"
exhibition in the hallway of the geology building. Another good place to
contact could be the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. I seem to recall
that there was a small exhibition that dealt with earthquakes as well. There
were a few hands-on displays that allowed youngsters (and big kids like
myself :-)) to build earthquake safe buildings.

I'm new to all this. (Just joined the Board of a local Colorado
paleontology/dinosaur museum.) But we visited Dinosaur Discovery Museum in
Fruita, Colorado. And they have a traveling exhibit that simulates an
earthquake. Contact Michael Perry at 1 800 344 3466. If you do, tell
him the contact was from the Dino Depot folks in Caņon City.
