There are a number of resources available both on and off-line.
The Association of Science-Technology Centers has job postings on its
website, http://www.astc.org and in its bimonthly newsletter, available on a
subscription basis by emailing [log in to unmask]
The American Association of Museums publishes AVISO, which focuses on
employment opportunities. AAM may be called at (202) 289-1818. Their website
is http://www.aam-us.org.
http://www.seeing2020.com/museums is another source for museum employment
information.
http://www.globalmuseum.org is another resource that tends to post job
openings and has a number of international opportunities.
State museum associations may have job postings in their newsletters or on
an association web site. I don't have a complete directory at this time.
Individual museums may offer job postings on their sites.
This is the short list of resources that come to mind. I am certain there
are a broad spectrum of other resources out there. My apologies to those not
mentioned. PLEASE let me know about you so that I can add you to by data
collection!
