The staff--primarily the Curator, with input and discussion among the staff--makes those decisions, not the Board.

Subject: Exhibition policies
Museum-L list members:
I am looking for examples of exhibition policies currently in use.
Specifically, I am looking for policies that address how curatorial
decisions are made. Do any museums out there have boards that make
decisions about whether or not exhibitions are done, or does that
responsibility fall to the director and the staff?
Please send copies to my e-mail address, off the list.
All examples welcome. Thank you all in advance.
