Here's some info on one such program:
The University of Delaware has a Department of Art Conservation,
employing conservators of paper, photos, textiles, paintings, furniture,
and everything else. The three-year program offers an MS in art
conservation in cooperation with the Winterthur Museum, and you can
specialize in archeological and decorative objects, furniture, paintings,
paper, photographs, and textiles.
The program also offers a PhD, designed for practicing conservators or
scientists. Financial support is available at both MS and PhD levels.
