The best way to Maryhill Museum is from Portland along the Gorge.  You can
also take a trip over the Cascades from Seattle and down through Yakima to
Goldendale.  Expect about 5 hours.  I went through last weekend and it was
clear... some falling snow, but none on  the roadway.   A good trip if you
don't mind seeing recent forest devastation.
