I am the new director of a realtively new (early 90's)Children's Museum and
I am in desperate need of help.  I would like to know anything and
everything that you could share with me about making the musuem a success.
I am especially interested in software that would be affordable and
addresses issues such as budget, fundraising/doner tracking, etc.  It is
also going to be very important to increase our exposure in the community
so I would be interested in any traveling exhibits that have been
successful.  And finally, one of my first challanges will be to acquire
additional revenue.  So, if you have ideas on fund rasiers, grants, ect.
they would also be appreciated.  If anyone out there with experience as a
museum administrator is looking for a great opportunity...I would love a
mentor!
