An investment in professional development is a proven strategy for
increasing individual effectiveness. The Fellowships in Museum Practice
program,offered by the Smithsonian's Center for Museum Studies, is
specially designed for mid-level and senior level staff who seek to
strengthen the understanding of museum functionsand their leadership
capabilities.The Center is now accepting proposals for fellowships
beginning after October 1, 1999. Proposal deadline is February 15, 1999.
