I think you would be very surprised at what kinds of tenants (with regard
to both character and wallet-width) landlords/ ladies in LA will take. I
rented an apartment with 2 other students. Together our income from work
(that is, t.a.-ing) was barely $30,000. Our rent was $1500. When a
housing market outprices the income of the average working person
everyone's options (lessees and lessors) are limited.
