I am looking for an internship this summer. The problem seems to be that
I
am no longer a student. I have a BA in Public Administration and a BA in
Humanities with an emphasis in History and Art History. I also completed
a
two year museum studies program and received a certificate in
museum studies. After I completed the program and the required
internship
I worked for a year as a curatorial assistant at the Michigan State
University Museum. However I need more exposure to the field. I live in
Detroit and have been unsucessful in my search for employment in the
museum field. I am currently working as a program coordinator in a
research and education program funded by grants from various sources.
The
experience I have gained from my current position would also be
beneficial
in a museum setting.
Does anyone know of any paid internships that do not require you to be a
student?
