Dear Deb,
I enjoyed your explanation of Southern Culture. However, coming from
somewhere even futher south, there is a term which confuses me a little.
What is a "hush puppy"? In Australia, Hush Puppy is a brand name for cheap
comfortable shoes and I cant imagine eating them with or without catfish.
