_Old House Journal_ (September/October 1992, Vol. XX, No. 5, 44-50) has an
article "Before Vinyl, There Was Linoleum".  Authors Shirley Maxwell and James
C. Massey give sources for solid-color, marbelized, and battleship linoleum
but stated unawareness of a supplier for patterned lino.  The availability of
patterned lino may have changed since this article was published with the
current craze for "retro" decorating styles...
