List members-
Thank you Bill and Bronwyn. It bears repeating that if this is
not a topic for Museum-L, for what listserv should it be a topic? These
are the real issues in the museum profession. As a novice in the field,
I am pleased that I have found a forum where these sorts of issues can be
discussed in a rational and professional way.
I refuse to resort to the name-calling that sometimes invades this
list. Let me say though that the complaintants' cries were unfounded.
These discussions do not belong in a back room in hushed voices.
Please list members, continue to discuss difficult issues facing
the museum community. For others, if it is offensive to you....delete it.
It can be gone at the touch of a button, unlike many of the other
offensive things in our world.
Thank you,
Vince
