At The Historical Society of Washington, DC, we are developing an exhibition
on growing up in Washington. It will open in November. The text will be drawn
entirely from oral histories, diaries, interviews, and letters from people who
grew up in DC.
By the way, if anyone has any suggestions on helping us locate famous people
who grew up in DC, I would be eternally grateful! We've got a pretty good list
together but no clue how to go about contacting them! Suggestions for famous
people's names also greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
