We put out all kinds of clues and messages in our communications, don't we?
There are, without doubt, a great many museums that discreetly send a
message that the "best applicant" for a job will have a certain background
that has nothing to do with professional expertise.
I read messages here ridiculing this reality (e.g., if I'm not a dolphin or
fish, how can I get a job at an aquarium?)
