We recently upgraded to QB Pro v.5.0 from QB 3.1 at the Deer Valley Rock Art
Center which is part of the ASU and have found it compatible with the
university accounts. I use it to keep track of gift shop inventory and day to
day accounting at the museum. Version 5.0 doesn't seem to have the glitches
that we had in v.3.1 (The program didn't always recognize paid invoices. I
even had a CPA who knew QB look at the files.)
The reports are easy to generate and overall the program has suited our
needs. I would recommend v. 5 over v.6 because v.6 is at the beginning of
the learning curve and their may be more glitches in the first issues of the
program.
