Our Museum has been a VISTA user for 3.5 years and we have had some
serious problems with the software. Though the new windows version
has promising potential, it has not yet lived up to my expectations.
2b has told me repeatedly in response that we are a unique situation;
I disagree.
For example: A current problem is that when a group reschedules, the
reservation appears to be rescheduled in the computer, but all
corresponding reports, including the daily schedule, place the
reservation on the original date.
Though the software can be enormously helpful, I would be very
cautious to make sure it lives up to your needs.
Please note we do not use the front desk module- only the workstation
configuration.
