I believe the museum you are looking for is the Donley's Wild West Town, 8512
South  Union Road, Urion Illinois 60180, Telephone # 815-923-9000, Fax #
815-923-2253.  I visited there a few years back and found it quite enjoyable.
Children especially seemed to like the buildings and displays.
