1. ART HISTORY - 2 positions Sept.98 to April.99, to teach 9 Art History
Courses (ARTE 101, 102). Each course is 3 weekly contact hours, with
additional office hours required. Qualifications: MA in Art History with
teaching experience at post-secondary level.
2. CONTEMPORARY ART ISSUES - Sept.98 to Dec.98, to teach 2 Contemporary Art
Issues Courses (ARTE 203). Each course is 3 weekly contact hours, with
additional office hours required. Seminar course requiring students to
write research papers and give presentations. Qualifications: MA in Art
History or Studio with strong academic background and extensive knowledge of
contemporary art.
3. DRAWING - Sept.98 to Dec.98, to teach one Drawing I Course (ARTE 110).
Course is 6 weekly contact hours, with additional office hours required.
Course covers line, gesture, tonal scales, mark making, perspective.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Studio with teaching experience at the
post-secondary level.
4. PAINTING - Sept.98 to Dec.98, to teach one Painting Workshop Course (ARTE
231). Course is 12 weekly contact hours, with additional office hours
required. Course covers still life, interiors, figure, portrait,
abstraction, assemblage using acrylic paint. Qualifications:Master's Degree
in Studio, exhibition record, and teaching experience at the post-secondary
level.
