The LaSalle shipwreck project was a marine archaeology project carried out about three years ago by the Texas Historical Commission. It involved raising a ship that had been used by the Sieur de LaSalle in his exploration of the Texas coast in the late 1680s. The project developed its own website, which I am sure you can find under "LaSAlle" or "Texas Historical Commission". -Lonn Taylor, National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution
