glad to see this discussion go on, but I think we're getting carried away
with it; the whole thread has been useful to me in that I would want to
encourage those who start at entry-level salaries realize that if you
stick it out, you will eventually rise to the top; you have to, lots of
us will eventually retire, and someone has to fill our shoes.
