The Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art publishes a
newsletter twice yearly including announcements about forthcoming
exhibitions, scholarly symposia and new books related to nineteenth-century
art, as well as fellowship opportunities, new online resources and
members' activities. The deadline for submissions for the Spring issue is
February 22. The deadline for the Fall issue is August 20.
AHNCA is an affiliated society with the College Art Association organized
to promote better understanding of the arts of the nineteenth century
among its 600 members throughout the world. Submissions to the newsletter
should be mailed to Cynthia Mills, newsletter editor, Historians of
Nineteenth-Century Art, 205 Dogwood Avenue, Takoma Park MD 20912-4236.
To become a member of the association, send $20 annual dues (in U.S.
funds) to the Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art, Program
in Art History, C.U.N.Y. Graduate Center, 33 W. 42nd St., New York, N.Y.
