If anyone needs or would like a Pitney Bowes machine see below.  These are
the combination scales/postage machines and are especially useful for bulk
mail.  Any and all offers considered.

SHIPPING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Pitney Bowes Star 170 system, Model G170.  Purchased for $8,239 in 1993.
System consists of electronic weighing scale, manifest printer and label
printer.  System provides shipping charge amounts through use of computer
chips.  Possible carriers are: USPS, UPS, Airborne Express, DHL, RPS,
Lanter, Fedex and Emery.  Contains USPS, UPS and Fedex chips updated in
1997;  current chips for all above carriers available through Pitney Bowes
for $200 per carrier.  Operating guide included.

This equipment was used by small stationery distribution department
1993-1997.  Department closed 12/31/97.
