Dear list fellows,
is there anybody experienced with the Kleio (DOS or UNIX-based) database?
According to the program handbook available at...
http://www.gwdg.de/kleio/manual/tutorial/content.htm
... this software targets its users among historians, archivists, and
closely related staff. Textual record of the item narrowly follows its
TIFF image. Curiously enough, the program is ready to accept dating
according to the saints' days, or some values of the historic coinage.
This is not an advertisement (althrough program is a freeware); I am just
wondering about a practitioner's remarks in a museum environment.
TIA, yours-
