Fellow Museum listers --

I am meeting tonight with a group of essentially non-museum
professionals who have a concept for a museum-like institution and are
seeking advice about physical planning.  I am certain they will need
some institutional and strategic planning as well from museum management
experts -- to create an organization, to make a financial plan based on
realistic projections of visitor numbers and operating budgets.

If you have worked with a consultant you recommend (or don't) please
contact me OFFLIST.  Please include the name and nature of the project.


I regret I can't describe the project more completely at this stage but
it is for an institution centered about a rather broad theme, without a
collection now, but certainly with the potential to perhaps acquire
and/or borrow relevant objects.
