Thanks to all who replied to my first query requesting
historical information about clothes hangers. I'm following
up on the valuable information and leads that resulted.

In an attempt  to trace the evolution of this
everyday device,  I'm still trying to determine
if there are any collections of historical hangers
somewhere and also  if someone knows of any
exhibition(s) of historic hangers that have been
presented.
