The Ackland Art Museum at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
is seeking a part-time assistant registrar (20 hours per week) responsible
for rights and reproductions; processing acquisitions; measuring, marking
objects; and departmental clerical work. Ability to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously, manual dexterity, and strong computer skills (WordPerfect
or Microsoft Word and Access) preferred. Ability to move or assist with
moving works of art. Bachelor's degree in art or related area or
equivalent experience strongly desired. Completion of high school or its
equivalency and three years of office assistant/secretarial experience
required. A typing and spelling test is required; call 919/962-2900 (Tar
Heel Temps) or your local Job Service to schedule a test. Salary range
