The following are the detailed technical specifications of
the Courtauld Gallery Painting CD-ROM. Please note it is
not available in a MAC version.I hope this answers many of
your questions.
Courtauld Gallery Paintings CD-ROM - SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
IBM-compatible PC with 80386 processor, Pentium recommended.
Minimum 8 MB memory (RAM).
MS-DOS 3.3 or higher.
MS WINDOWS 3.1 or higher, Windows 95 or Windows NT.
MS-DOS CD-ROM extensions (MSCDEX).
CD-ROM drive, quadro-speed or more recommended.
VGA card with a display of at least 65,000 colours.
Mouse.
The CD-ROM contains its own install/deinstall programme
which places a small file and icon on the hard disc of
the PC. It can therefore be used at different sites if the
CD-ROM is loaned out, for example from a library. It will
naturally only run when the actual CD is in the drive.
