Thanks to all who replied on my quilt posting. The accepted method seems
to be a sleeve and rod, with a slanted panel being the ideal! (wish there
were enough space!) This was as I expected! After trips to a variety of
museums, I now know I will have to replace a large number of velcro
hangers.
But has anyone had any experience with a padded clamp type quilt hanger?
I suspect that this again might put undue pressure on the fabric, but I
have noticed them being used. (Two pieces of wood padded with batting and
unbleached muslin).
