Dear Collegues,
I am an artist with an MFA living in San Francisco looking for position
within an art museum in which I may be called upon to function in
several different capacities, including curatorial research and exhibit
design / fabrication, or within a collections management role.
A curatorial position to assist art museum or cultural institution with
the management, development, interpretation, and preservation of its
collections.
I have over 10 years experience in woodworking and metal / plexiglass
fabrication, including design of museum exhibits and art work storage
cabinets. Art handling and preparation, storage and transportation.
Skilled in collections curation practices, including accession,
identification and cataloging procedures and preservation methods.
Extensive art background, with training in illustration, photographic,
and computer graphics techniques.
Excellent personnel supervisory and management skills.
College level teaching background. Strong show record. I am able to
relocate anywhere for a career position.
Please email me at: [log in to unmask] if you know of a opening. Thank you
for your kind considerations.
Best regards,
Barnabas Strickland
