The Stanford University Museum of Art is trying to locate a source for
expanding metal barriers that can be inserted into a doorway (and locked)
to place a gallery temporarily off-limits and then removed (without a
trace) when work is complete. They should be able move on wheels, open &
expand to fill at least a 9' opening. If anyone knows a source (or even a
proper name for this sort of mechanism) please contact me off-list at the
address given below. If you know another list-AAM, or museum security, for
example-where someone might know a source for these devices, I would be
grateful if you would forward my query.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
