Internships at the Institute for Learning Innovation, Annapolis, Md.
The
Institute for Learning Innovation is currently accepting applications
for
their spring 1999 internship position. Applications must be received by
December 31, 1998 in order to be considered. The Institute is a
non-profit
organization which works to describe, assess and advance learning both
in
free-choice settings and in the formal education system. The
organization?s focus is in three distinct yet integrated areas: research
and evaluation, professional development, and materials development.
The
collective experience of staff gives the organization expertise across a
wide variety of disciplines including art, history, and science. For

This internship is a full-time, three-month position, beginning in
February
or March 1999 and continuing through April or May 1999. This schedule
is
flexible in order to accommodate both the applicant's and the
organization's needs and interests. A modest stipend is offered to the
intern to help defray the cost of living. Interns can pursue interests
in
informal learning and acquire hands-on experience in all aspects of
evaluation and research. There are opportunities to help with the
development of educational resources, to organize and engage in
professional development, and to become involved in other facets of our
organization that match your interests.
