Museum Coordinator, Raupp Memorial Museum, Buffalo Grove Park District.
Closing date: June 15, 1998. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors or Master's Degree in
Museum Studies, Museum Administration or the equivalent is required with a
minimum of one to two years experience preferred but not required. The
candidate must be able to work well with people, especially with volunteers;
work independently with initiative; schedule and manage time effectively;
manage multiple projects; and meet deadlines. The Coordinator will work with
and report to the Museum Manager and Historical Society Board.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Coordinator is responsible for the management and care
of the collection, as well as collection research, exhibit planning and
development, and implementation of educational programs. The Coordinator
will normally work a 40-hour week. However, hours worked can be flexible
depending on work load. STARTING SALARY RANGE: $24,000 to $28,000 with
