Recently someone was looking for virtual museum websites for classroom
use. I lost the name and address so I'm putting this out there for any
and all who are interested.
There is a virtual gardening site, Tele-garden, at
http//www.usc.edu/dept/garden
On this site is a circular plot of land and you can manipulate a robotic
arm to focus in on plants in different areas of the plot, which allows
you to monitor their growth throughout a season. I guess if you sign on
to their program, you get to do virtual planting, but I'm not sure how
this works.
