Daniel - if you saw the cost of housing  in San Jose, you'd know why The
Tech is offering what looks like a good salary.  It takes two such
salaries to have any hope of buying even a modest house unless you'd
like to make long commutes in bumper to bumper freeway traffic.
Nevertheless there is much that is still very attractive about the area,
so don't let me dampen anyone's urge to send their resume...just look
carefully if you get offered a postion.
