The information in Federal Computers is public --
Unless your name is Olie North. Much of the information Olie shredded
was email print outs. I understand the the Justice Department decided
they could not "trust" the on-line information and refused to have it
restored and printed out a second time. Later I understand the President
Bush made an agreement with someone in the National Archives to place
the computer tapes from his office in the National Archives. However,
the information could only be made public with his agreement. I also
understand that the man who made that agreement is now director of the
Bush Museum. But then maybe I just made this all up.
